There was a clash among the students of our college. There have been so many incidents happened in our college but yesterday(Nov 12th,2008) was the worst that could have not happened elsewhere. The problem had been silent for two - three weeks ago but the students took the revenge yesterday.Students entered the college campus around 2.15pm and had been waiting for other students to come out after the exams.As semester exam is going on in our college and there was a hue and cry at around 4.30pm in the college campus.The exam timings are 2-5.
At the stroke of 5pm the students started to beat brutally other students.It was three of them where they were beaten until they went unconscious. A student was beaten brutally in our college entrance where in just 10 steps away,the cops , reporters, photographers and public were standing.The worst of worst thing was that the cops were just standing and enjoying the scene as spectators.Inspite of prior information received by the cops,still they were helpless creatures.Media and Press were insisting the cops to stop the violence.And another worst thing is that even our college Principal was just watching what was happening. 3 students were beaten
mercilessly by not 5 or 6 but by 60 -70 students.Now among 3 ,1 is critical,other 2 are serious and undergoing treatment in Govt.Hospital.

As I was busy preparing for exam,my family members after watching the news told me about the incident.I just left it because these kind of violence is not a big issue as it happens everytime among the students.But morning when I saw the news I was like, shocked !!!!!!!!!!!!!Finally the college is closed for 2 days i.e 13th and 14th Nov,2008.The exams to be held today and tomorrow are postponed and the reschedule of such exam is unknown for us.
All over Tamilnadu all the law colleges Madurai,Trichy,Coimbatore,Thirunelveli,Salem,Chenagalpet and Vellore have been closed on account of this issue.In Coimbatore law college the students protested into the exam hall and did not allow to conduct exams,thus the university declared not to conduct exam. Chennai law college hostel has been Indefinitely closed (IDC).Chennai law college Principal has been suspended for not taking any steps to stop the violence and other cops who were spectators are also suspended.
The case is being investigated and to be heard in the Court today afternoon itself because of its urgency.There has been a commission appointed by the Govt. head by retired Justice.Shanmugam to investigate this incident.The whole state of Tamilnadu has been put under high alert after this issue.Lets see how this issue is twisted...................................
We the students who should make law are breaking the laws...................It is very shocking to have such kind of students in our college that too boys .I don't know from where these hatred is created among them.

This goes to show the lawlessness of the so called law college .. Well brother, it wud be good if u cud blog all the reasons behind that clash .. like what were the previous reasons that lead to yesterday's clash?
Atleast , the law makers and other authorities would take enough measures to prevent such incidents in future
This shows where India stands. It is a huge shame to the name of Dr. Ambedkar, who gave shape to our constitution.
It is clear from the video that the cops were just spectators that there is some political drama.
The arrested will be released soon, at least get a bail, but it is the parents of those students who suffer. Those "barbarian killers" should be hanged. This incident just adds one more feather to the COPS records that we can never trust them regarding protecting us.
I believe that there will be at least a person who will take stern action against those "savage beasts."

This gruesome, horrendous and brutal a normal human can't see the full video. They can't be human and that too future law makers. Ban these guys for registering to any college in India or any where. How can one beat a man who has already lost his senses. May the boys get well soon.
its really inhumane.. & makes d ppl cry who watches d video..v ourself bein nothin related to those guys feel so much but hw can those guys act so rude to the mates who studied with dem... seriously they are not humans...

I am sure there must be some internal reaons which get accentuated with caste prejudices.
But i am not sure how sure. With such lawless men studying to interpret the law, i shudder to think of where we as a nation are headed.
Would appreciate if you can throw some independent light on the 'real' reason !

This is a crapy incident ever happened. The police is solely responsible for the the incident. Transfer and suspension is not enough, they have to be dismissed. The worthless principal has to arrested. The students has to be detained and also arrested. They clearly shows that they are no more students but future rowdies
What to say? The country's pride is totally vanished. The guy who banished the knife gave an alarm to the parents that your boys shouldn't be admitted in law colleges. To me one thing is clear the guys i mean rowdys who beaten the victim are all from south there their position is still downtraden, when they're kept out of such situation they feel that it's liberty. Such a liberty turned them in to brutel. In this time i wanna to quote one eminent jurist justice BHAGAWATI observation., {absolute liberty would result in ruin}

Police watch and wait for a complaint against future law makers. Stating they took action after principal gave them the complaint. Press reporters and video cams, focusing hard to get each and every glimpse of it, and no one doing anything. Were there no people around, was it only police, what were all of them doing? didnt they have stones and rods around to get them off the scene... everybody wants a live movie... damid!!
These guys fight together for tamil nadu, to be their own state all day, and now fight among themselves for caste, and some watch it as if its fun.
I think this is the same thing happening to india, fought for indian independence together but fight against each other in the name of caste. Today we can see the actual pain in the video, which each individual in india goes through because of this caste. We will never be happy for what our people are.
With tears,, i pray those guys get some relief from pain soon...

actually i have seen this video yesterday only... wat the fuck the polis men are duing there? is this how they watch the scene...heartless creatures....bloddy bastards.... how violent and wild they are... am just speechless only tears are coming from ma eyes...no one is having heart ther....
