When the ad was first aired ,I could well find a healthy fight which would head to the court of law.The ad explains us clearly that Horlicks - "Taller,Stronger and Sharper"is better and costs lower than the Complan-"Complete Planned Food".I was shocked to see the ad when Horlicks was degrading the higher price of Complan.

All I could guess in this ad was that this can be an example of unfair competition under category Comparative Advertising.And now the hearing on this suit is on the 1st week of January 2009.Lets wait and watch to see what happens.....................................A full report on this issue will be posted after the hearing of this case.

NO............Please don't boil the boiled water

Please don't ever try to do this !!!!!!!!! If you are in a practice for long years, then this post is for your kind attention....................................Yes it is true and try to aware of this fact to your near and dear,family and friends,after all "Health is Wealth".

The fact is that boiling the boiled water again is equal to poison.Shocking,yes it is not fake but true.Even I didn't take it as a serious matter until my mom tried to do this act.It is not healthy to reheat the boiled water and drink such water.Let me spill the beans of this fact as to why?

"The more oxygen that is dissolved in water, the better it tastes. So, to make sure you use water with the maximum amount of oxygen, don’t re-boil any leftover water in your kettle. Water that is boiled too much becomes poorly aerated because oxygen atoms escape in the form of steam".

I tried searching the exact reason but in vain.If any of you know the reason please let me know through your comments. Reason for a reasonable cause ??????????????????

Reasons behind the clash of chennai law students

What really happened in our college and why was there such an outrageous behaviour among the students???????? Is there any reason behind as to why cops were mute spectators??????Is it justifiable if these cops are transferred and suspended??????????

1.On account of celebrations for Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Devar Birthday i.e Devar Jayanthi On October 30th, the students of this caste celebrated grandly where in poster were also printed. The poster bared only Govt. Law College and did not prefix "Dr.Ambedkar". Our college name fully is known as Dr.Ambedkar Govt. Law College,Chennai. This was insulting for Dalit students as Dr.Ambedkar has fought hard for their recognition.Therefore as November month started and till the day on which clash was held, the issue was burning for 2 weeks .And some students tore the poster which made anger to other community students.This is wholly a community problem.

2.Is it justifiable if the "mute spectators" are transferred and suspended.What is the reason behind the cops for not entering our college???????? The silly reason given by them was that 'we cannott enter the college without the permission of Principal'.Ok let this be a reasonable one because in the history of law college that too our college guys will attack among them and when cops enter,the guys even attack the cops.Further they will blame the cops for entering in the issue and arrest some students on account of this.What next??? Other students will go on strike,block the road which creates huge traffic jam to release the arrested students.This is what happens every occasion till date as I know.

When you closely watch the video you will know that the boy was beaten mercilessly in the entrance of the gate.Cops were not allowed inside the college campus Ok.But when the incident is happening in the entrance that was almost outside the campus where they could have at least threatened with their guns to protect the boy who was beaten brutally.



3.The real mute spectator was "The Principal",known the seriousness of problem among students should have asked the cops to see through the issue and take necessary steps to stop the violence.He failed to do so and now he too is suspended.If he had taken some steps may be stop such violence may be there would have not been such seriousness and could have avoided causality.

4.Should we appreciate the Media and Press for taking such good videos or snaps as a matter of evidence for the cause !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Though they insisted the cops to stops the violent behaviour,even they could have taken some measures to stop the outrageous behaviour.

What ever happened is happened.Now High Court has asked the commission headed by retired Justice.Shanmugam to submit a report in this issue on Tuesday.Also this issue was raised in the tamilnadu assembly by the opposite party where in they were ruled out.Waiting to watch what will happen........................................................

Clash between students in Dr.Ambedkar Govt. Law College,Chennai

There was a clash among the students of our college. There have been so many incidents happened in our college but yesterday(Nov 12th,2008) was the worst that could have not happened elsewhere. The problem had been silent for two - three weeks ago but the students took the revenge yesterday.Students entered the college campus around 2.15pm and had been waiting for other students to come out after the exams.As semester exam is going on in our college and there was a hue and cry at around 4.30pm in the college campus.The exam timings are 2-5.

At the stroke of 5pm the students started to beat brutally other students.It was three of them where they were beaten until they went unconscious. A student was beaten brutally in our college entrance where in just 10 steps away,the cops , reporters, photographers and public were standing.The worst of worst thing was that the cops were just standing and enjoying the scene as spectators.Inspite of prior information received by the cops,still they were helpless creatures.Media and Press were insisting the cops to stop the violence.And another worst thing is that even our college Principal was just watching what was happening. 3 students were beaten
mercilessly by not 5 or 6 but by 60 -70 students.Now among 3 ,1 is critical,other 2 are serious and undergoing treatment in Govt.Hospital.

As I was busy preparing for exam,my family members after watching the news told me about the incident.I just left it because these kind of violence is not a big issue as it happens everytime among the students.But morning when I saw the news I was like, shocked !!!!!!!!!!!!!Finally the college is closed for 2 days i.e 13th and 14th Nov,2008.The exams to be held today and tomorrow are postponed and the reschedule of such exam is unknown for us.

All over Tamilnadu all the law colleges Madurai,Trichy,Coimbatore,Thirunelveli,Salem,Chenagalpet and Vellore have been closed on account of this issue.In Coimbatore law college the students protested into the exam hall and did not allow to conduct exams,thus the university declared not to conduct exam. Chennai law college hostel has been Indefinitely closed (IDC).Chennai law college Principal has been suspended for not taking any steps to stop the violence and other cops who were spectators are also suspended.

The case is being investigated and to be heard in the Court today afternoon itself because of its urgency.There has been a commission appointed by the Govt. head by retired Justice.Shanmugam to investigate this incident.The whole state of Tamilnadu has been put under high alert after this issue.Lets see how this issue is twisted...................................

We the students who should make law are breaking the laws...................It is very shocking to have such kind of students in our college that too boys .I don't know from where these hatred is created among them.

Book e-tickets in irctc without id proof

That's a very good news that Indian railways have introduced and relaxed some procedures in booking e-tickets. Earlier while booking e-ticket,we have to give the Proof of Identity.But now it has been relaxed where it is not necessary to produce any ID proof during booking rather the passenger has to carry the ID proof while traveling.They have listed out five identity cards,they are Voter ID card/ Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/Photo Identity Card Issued by Central/State Government. Therefore passenger has to carry anyone of the above mentioned id proof while traveling. Further details are here.

Booking e-tickets and i-tickets are easier.But the problem arises while canceling. E-ticket can be canceled electronically,where as canceling the i-ticket becomes difficult because it has to be surrendered in person at the railway counters .Hope this is also relaxed in forthcoming days.Happy Booking :)

Power cut in Tamilnadu

The biggest problem in Tamilnadu is now the power cut.Sometimes,it is announced and at times unannounced.Is it justifiable to cut power in villages for more than 5-6 hours and in cities only for 1-2 hrs??????Are the villagers underprivileged or people in city privileged,unanswered????????????????.The Govt.is brilliant in our country,where it advices us to save electricity and other resources,but mind you advice given by them is only for others and they are not bound by it :)

I have seen in many Govt. office,institutions where the fans,lights are switched on as it is even when they are not at their desk.Isn't it the worst thing that they do????? They will not care for saving the resources but simply make hue and cry that we the public are wasting and not saving.It should be borne in mind by the Govt. servants that they are not only wasting the resources but wasting the energy of workers who are producing such resources.Simply atrocious and I wholly condemn the resources wasted but Govt. servants.This should be looked at once by the Govt. that their servants don't breach their duties of saving.

We should not only boost the future generation that "today's children are tomorrows leaders", but save resources to lead their life happily as we do.Finally resources cannot be saved only on certain occasions like 08-08-08 by switching for 8 mins and 8 secs,rather than it should be switched off when not in use.

I don't know where I am.Am I in this world ????Don't know,don't know, I still don't know what to write.I am totally upset,frustrated,hatred is created in my mind.I miss ............................,I have no words to express.Life taught and is still teaching me lessons that are turning into everyday experience.I still don't know what I feel,what I do and I am blank.Am I alone,I don't know,I just cannot express my thoughts into words.


I am blank,but still I find words to spit here.Don't know how????????I still don't know,how????I feel like .........................don't know..............................................my god........loneliness is eating my head.Is it boredom,don't know???? And finally don't know in what title this post is or should be????????????

Online Payment of Electricity Bill in Chennai

No need to stand in a long Q and strain yourself.You can now pay your electricity bills through online sitting at home if you are a resident of Chennai.Yes at last,Tamilnadu Electricity Board(TNEB) have introduced online payment of electricity bills for the first time in Chennai.Click here to pay online. There is a good thing that the bills can be paid on holidays also.The bad thing is that after the last date there is no facility,rather than facility you cannot pay through online.And payment can be made only in the concerned computerised office manually along with fine.It is better late than never that online payment have been implemented from September 15th.



There is also another good news where Any Time Payment(ATP) Machines has been installed in Chennai North Region to facilitate Consumers to pay Current Consumption Charges (Electricity Bill) through Cash/Local Cheque/DD at the locations specified below. This facility will be available for 24 hours during the collection Period (1st to 15th of every month). Chennai City (Chennai North and South Region) Consumers can avail this facility.The ATP Collection Centres at present is in Anna Salai (TNEB Head Office),T.Nagar,Wallajah Road and Seven Wells (Sowcarpet).In this machine only note currencies are accepted and the payers are requested not to use coins and notes that are in bad condition.If there is excess amount,it will be adjusted in the subsequent bills and any short payment will lead to disconnection of electricity line without any prior information,which is strange.

The C,CC,CCC Day..................

I wanted to attend only 1 hour in college and then bunk.Fortunately,my college guys were in hunger strike where the classes were canceled for a week.Very happily,I went to give a book to my friend who was in State Consumer Dispute Redressal commission or Consumer Court.It was my first visit today not as an advocate,but to see my friend.May be in future I may step into for defending cases as I have not yet decided to practice.


My friend was given appointment in the court where there was an hour to go.In the mean time we decided to go to Chennai Citi Center which is nearby consumer court.It was my first visit to that mall.Well established with exclusive stores under one roof.Citi center is been visited by many celebrities very casually which is good to see them publicly.Today I saw gorgeous Swarnamalya as I entered into the mall.While waiting near the gate for my friend to bring his bike.I was standing in between two exit gates where cars passed in front and back of me.I was busy reading the parking tariff which was in front of me.After sometime I noticed that there was a black skoda octavia car in which Vijayadiraj was going where I missed to see him directly when the car was near me.






The best thing today I featured was that the places where I went started with letter C.

No Honking Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know that in road it is those three who govern us and its our obligation to follow them.The three are Red-Amber-Green,which means ,Stop-Prepare to stop-Go, respectively.The traffic is high during peak hours.Everyone knows how to follow the rules of traffic and everything is fine when it is red i.e where all wheels stop.I am here not to inform about people who coordinate to stop but to let you all know how I lose my temper.


The degree of hardness is impeccable. I cant even explain as it raises upto its maximum. And wow the intolerable noise from all vehicles are irresistible.Oh ! Yes as soon as it is green all are set to go.But still I am outbursted because of the annoying noise made by the people with their automobile horns who are waiting behind me .I can go only when vehicles in front of me start going. Until the front vehicles move they horn continuously. Even if it is green please wait until your own way is free. Don’t ever annoy others by making such noise.I don’t understand none can be illiterate about the signals of our country. Then why people cant think that they can go only when the traffic in front of them is clear. A major problem in populous city.


I am totally frustrated and disturbed till I come out of the traffic.Please I wish everyone to act wisely while driving to adhere some courtesy so that no one becomes deaf………….Please my readers don’t do this mistake again who ever does or ask the one who does not to do.

Light (Heavy) Music

Light music is now one of the essentials without which the marriage reception these days are incomplete. Only the name is light where as the music is heavy,rather than heavy it is a menace. The noise is so heavy that it disturbs a good occasion of get together. I have attended so many marriages with light music. All I find is that they don’t allow me to speak with anyone.Finally end up with head and ear ache.Its true I am not joking. I do agree that they are entertaining but these create noise pollution.

It was well said by one of the environmentalist that India is a pollution loving nation.”We burst crackers on Dussehara ,Diwali and on the occasions of marriages other festivals. Also equally fond of noise pollution. Using loudspeakers,amplifiers and marriages are accompanied by bands,twists ,Bhangras and light music(newly added)and the list goes on.”

We can change everything.If u want to have music play it very lightly so that the get together is not spoiled. Why should we unnecessarily create noise pollution.I have decided not to have a light music in my marriage instead play instrumental songs via cd players very lightly.I hope all my friends would also change their opinion.The name itself should speak .Be light,stay light and the rest will be right.

Goodness of fever

Fever, fever every where,but not one type of fever,there are many……………………………….

"Before exams she gets fever"said my father to the Doctor.My father forgot that I get fever only during summer season due to its intense heat.When it is summer season for everyone,its fever season for me…………………………………Shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ! Yes. I don’t know how but after joining college each year I got one or other fever.First it was infection in stomach,then sinus,then malaphoid(combo pack of malaria and typhoid)and now finally it is chicken pox that lasted and lasting for more than 20 days.

But fever helped me to clear my exams.Does that sound different for everyone,Yes it should and interesting too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Go ahead to know the goodness of fever

Once attacked by fever,toxins are widely spread to make you sluggish.Toxins are poison produced by living organisms that develop to cause fever irrespective of the period that continues. After diagnosing, the Doctors prescription and advise helps to flush away whole toxins to bring back the energy. For this diet and the home ambience also play a vital role.

I have seen many parents of sick children who have wrong notion that falling sick often is not good . That’s not true perhaps the immunity power of such affected individual raises as said by my sister who is a dentist.Therefore if, anyone is ill,be happy because after such ailment they are highly refreshed,rejuvenated,charged from their body,mind and soul.And the tremendous regained energy helps them to pass through the exams well like I underwent and undergoing.

I finally conclude that fever should be taken in a positive aspect and not in a negative sense.Happy illness……………………………………..

Expect the unexpected-II

Am Back to post what happened when I switched to American punctuality.Did I continue to be on time where ever I went?

I attend early morning classes where weekly tests are conducted.It is the first test that I was going to appear for.Every thing was fine,perfect and started from home on time.On the way to institute in my two wheeler and it was just 5 more mins to reach.Slowed down as there was red signal and my two wheeler stopped.

My brain understood the green signal that I should GO,but my two wheeler stopped even after seeing the green.I tried to start,kick start,auto start,start,start,start and was totally exhausted.But it didn’t start.I thought there was not enough petrol in the tank.I was unable to find any petrol bunk near to me.After a long hesitation I stopped an auto to ask petrol if he had. The autowalla didn’t have petrol but he directed me to the nearest petrol bunk.Then went to petrol bunk and filled my tank.One of the worker in petrol bunk started for me.

Finally reached the institute half an hour late.It was all because of my two wheeler which made me to suffer and only a week before I got it serviced.Even if I think to keep myself on time there are some evils that don’t allow me.

It always happens with me where I never keep up punctuality.I am always scolded during my school days for not entering the classroom on time.This happenend to me when I was in my 12th std.The reporting time to enter the class is 8.50a.m where I enter only at 9'o clock everyday.My teacher warned me each and everyday.It was warning,warning,warning,................................................one fine day I was caught red handed,ousted from class and restricted me not to sit in the classroom for the whole day.Attended the first period class like outstanding student(LOL)!!!!!!!!
I never expected that my teacher will oust me from classroom.Salty water flowing through my cheeks like water falls,yes I was crying after the first period as my guilty conscious pricked.Ran behind my class teacher to enter the classroom.She refused and asked me to get permission from the principal for entering the classroom.I felt very bad on my punctuality.Then she excused me for the last time.

Reporting on time irrespective of place is to be built from the childhood which I never took it as a serious matter.One of the characteristic feature that each and everyone should adapt is punctuality.This is an instance of Indian punctuality where I strongly determine to be a true Indian citizen.What happened when I switched over to American punctuality.....................................................wait and watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
